Reintegration of CAAFAG and Children Affected by Armed Conflict

The Programme Reintegration of Children/youths formerly Associated with Armed Forces and Armed Groups and Children Affected by Armed Conflict is designed to mainstream the children involved in armed activities during the armed conflict is implementing with the partnership of UNICEF Nepal since July 2007 covering all 69 VDCs and 2 municipalities of Rupandehi district.

Objective of the project is to support the overall peace process through the promotion of the rights of children and youth within an integrated child protection system. Through this program more than 300 CAAFAG children are reintegrated in the respected communities and around 200 other vulnerable children are supported for formal education.
